Need a really tiny microcontroller board for simple tasks? The picStrip-Micro is about as small as you're going to get, and still have standard PCB headers!
It's based on the new Microchip PIC12F1822, and although it's only an 8-pin device, it has a 32MHz internal clock, a hardware UART, one-channel PWM, and four 10-bit analog inputs!
The board itself has a 240mA 4.8V micro-regulator (5.2V-15V input), the standard 5-pin PIC ICSP port, a 4-pin serial header with Bluetooth module pinout, and two 3-pin standard "hobby-servo" headers. The ISCP header also has two usable I/O lines available, or three if hardware reset is disabled. (which it would probably be...)
As with most of our boards, we don't install or include headers or plugs, since the choice will vary greatly depending on the application and personal preferences. They are available (at a very low cost!) in the "Headers & Plugs" category.
