The standard 0.1" spaced right-angle 40-pin male breakaway header that can be easily cut into whatever length is required. The short side is soldered into the PCB, and the long is the connector side.
These are commonly used to connect adjacent boards, or unique right-angle applications like the nanoDuino NS, or in other situations where height is an issue.
